An amazing class for kids ages 8 to 17 and adults ages 18 and 19. You will learn how to create, produce, and perform in an original sitcom called "Live". Written for TV, but never produced, The House of MAGIC has proudly received the rights to perform this sitcom with its students. The class will be broken down into two groups, Actors and Production. The Actors group will learn the process of acting for a sitcom. The Production group will learn how to film, lights, and direct a sitcom.

 

Synopsis: "Live" is a restaurant were the workers not only wait tables, but they also perform for the guests. The bulk of the sitcom takes place in the restaurant. Singing parts are available.

 

Actors Requirements: You must audition for a part in the sitcom. You must be between the ages of 8 and 19. Ability to sing is a plus.

 

Production Requirements: You must be between the ages of 13 and 19. No other requirements necessary.

 

Tuition for Actors is $250 for an 8 week course.

Tuition for Production is $200 for a 7 week course.

 

At the conclusion of the class, "Live" will be filmed before a live audience.
